This past week was the 2nd annual Thompson family vacation to Sandestin, FL and I must say Holly and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I know for some, the idea of spending an entire week with your family in a not-so-big-house is a frightening proposition, but we’re very blessed to have a family that all gets along well enough to pull it off. The week was filled with lots of beach time (as evidenced by my Polish friend Nico’s comment of “Oh wow, you’ve got red on your skin!” upon seeing me on Skype), seafood, and of course, good fellowship. We also made some good memories I’m sure we’ll hold on to for a lifetime.
