Last week I mentioned that Holly and I had been invited over to two different families’ homes for dinner while in Poland.  We actually had the opportunity to visit our friend Nico’s house twice while we were in Szczecin and had wonderful food and fellowship both times; the first time was extremely special though.  The day we arrived in Poland, Nico graduated from the University with his Bachelor’s degree in logistics, and his mom Anya wanted us to come over to celebrate.

Holly and I have mentioned many times to each other how much Nico’s sister Vikki reminds us of our niece “little Holly” (who isn’t so little any more), and Nico has become a very good friend over the course of the last year as we’ve Skyped and Facebooked (those are words… I think).  It was great to get to meet their mom this year and spend some time with them.  It is interesting how, in such a short time, we feel like we have a family in Poland now, as well as the one back here in the States.  God has blessed us with many great friendships there.
