There are places in the Smokies I could – and do – go back to again and again.  The upper Lynn Camp Prong falls, featured in this week’s Picture of the Week, is one of those places.  A photo of this particular falls ended up being a favorite of 2021 (My 5 Favorite Photos from 2021) and I’ve returned there a number of times since then.  That photo from 2021 is featured below in the Alternative Perspective section for reference, but is admittedly a completely different image from this week’s.  It was that photo, however, that inspired this one.  As one of the iconic scenes of the Smokies, I felt it should definitely have a home among my growing collection of night images from the park.  As I was shooting the stream image that I posted a few weeks ago (this one), I had this idea, so while I was out and about, I just decided to hike on up and shoot that one also!  So much fun.

More next week!
