Y’all are going to laugh when I say this, but there was a day earlier this fall when I specifically remember thinking, “Man, I haven’t gotten *squat* for stream scenes this fall!”.  Clearly I hadn’t stopped to take stock of what all I had captured this year.  There is probably something to be said for inspiration here as well.  Last year I felt like I was on a high of streamscene inspiration – almost every time I went out it felt magical in someway.  I was discovering new places and finding, what I felt like, were incredible scenes.  I could say the same about this year, actually, but the feeling just wasn’t the same.  Chalk it up to dulled senses due to COVID fatigue and just the stresses of life creeping into my creative realm – whatever it was – it certainly didn’t stop me from capturing what I feel like are some nice scenes.  I may have just not been feeling it at the time.

Be all that as it may, it’s no secret that I enjoy photographing streams.  Rather than drag out my fall colors series another 6 weeks and completely bore you guys to death with stream images, I thought I’d just share a bunch this week that I’m happy with.  I’ve shared two other images of streams this fall, and REALLY like the first two images of this photo essay, but consider the others to be “the rest of the best”, if you will.  At any rate, I hope you enjoy these and we’ll continue next week!

Have a great week!
