Okay, so I guess it's officially Fall, but I thought I'd recap what all has been going on.
Just to make sure everything is going to fit like we want it to, Scotty got everything mocked up, and I have to say, I'm really happy with the fitment of the Holley / Hooker gear.
You can see how tight the headers fit up under the car.
And of course, more body panels were put on. It's actually starting to look like a car again. Since these pictures, the engine guy has stopped by and picked up the motor and is waiting on me to round out the parts list. I also picked up most of what is left of the drive line stuff…

And the third member… complete with Auburn locker and 4.11 gears. I have to admit that I'm a little nervous about that ratio, but everyone is saying its going to be rock solid. I went out and did some driving in the GTO and found that in 6th gear, it should be turning about the same RPMs as the GTO, which is very livable. Lots of gear changing! 🙂
