End of 2013

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas this past week.  Our family had good times hanging out together, and despite several people being under the weather (myself included) during Christmas week (and on Christmas day for my niece Sophia) it was still excellent to relax and fellowship together.

Since this is the last Picture of the Week for 2013 and I thought I’d share just a collage from the last several weeks.  The smaller pictures on the left are from our Christmas celebrations.  On Christmas eve, Holly and I always go to her parent’s house and eat dinner and open presents (top-most picture), followed by watching The Christmas Story on TV.  On Christmas day we gather at my parent’s house (bottom-most picture) for dinner and presents as well.  This December we also got to have another celebration, that of Holly’s sister Amy graduating from college.  In addition to working a full time job and managing a family, Amy managed to find time to complete a degree.  She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Tusculum College and the whole family is extremely proud of her for her hard work and perseverance.

As 2013 comes to a close we have much to be thankful for.  Holly and I would like to wish you a wonderful 2014, full of blessings and hope.
