My family and I ate here on our vacation after reading all the reviews. Almost every site you look at ranks this the top spot to eat at in the area… and it certainly lived up to the hype.
The food was excellent and the service extremely fast (I guess that is a plus to having a very limited menu). I had the crab cakes and they were excellent… more crab then cake. The mashed potatoes and salad were excellent as well. My wife had the grouper and loved it. No one in our family was disappointed.
One thing to note… this really is a bar; so it is loud and dark… like a bar. The food is over the top though and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Also, the wait times people are saying are accurate… it was about an hour and half for us. We dropped by and got our buzzer and then went down to the beach for family photos. When we returned, we found parking spots (not an easy task) and our buzzer went off when we walked up. Pretty good timing.
I would definitely eat there again.
