Others have mentioned on other review sites that the outside of this hotel is not the most beautiful, but the rooms are very nice and clean and the hotel staff were incredibly friendly. The style of the rooms is very country and it has an almost old timey feel to it. Very cozy inside when the wind is howling outside!
My wife and I also ate at the restaurant while we were in town and it was GREAT. I had a bit of a mishap with a ketchup bottle (luckily there were no others guests there or some people would have left with ketchup all over them) and the owners took it all in stride and laughed about it (not much else you could do really). Almost all of their food is either from their own little farm or the farm across the street, which I thought was very cool. They also have two golden labs which were just hilarious and super friendly.
