It is no secret that Holly and I have been looking for land for quite some time.  We love our current house, but we’ve dreamed of building a house on a decent sized piece of property out in the county where we (read: Holly) can have goats and chickens, and where we can try our hand at gardening, etc.  The challenge was finding a piece of property close enough to the city so as to still be convenient, in our price range, and not up the side of a mountain.  Well our search finally came to an end this spring, and in July of 2018 we closed on a 20 acre farm in Blount County that’s everything we ever hoped for, and more.
