Moonrise over San Diego

While Holly and I were planning our trip to California, I made the comment that we should go to San Diego to see our friend Shelley while we were there.  Turns out I’m not that good at geography, and I thought San Francisco and San Diego were MUCH closer together then they actually are! 🙂 BUT… even though it was a long drive, we decided to do it anyway (we drove down the Pacific Coast Highway to get there and THAT was amazing!).

One afternoon in San Diego, Shelley, Holly, and I were kicking around ideas for places to eat that night, Shelley mentioned a place with a view… but she couldn’t remember the name of it.  After an entertaining conversation between her and my other friend Matt Chaney in which they played a sort of verbal charades, the two of them finally landed on the place.  With the promise of great view and an incredible view, we headed down to the bay to a restaurant called C-Level.  The food we definitely good, and as you can see… the view amazing!  We just happened to catch it on an evening when the moon was full and the alpine glow from the sunset was really quite nice.  If you’re ever in San Diego, you should definitely check this place out!
