I have a confession to make. I’m still wrestling with which image I like the most from this set – perhaps more so than any other set I’ve done this year. The tie, in my mind, is between the image above, and the first image below in the Alternative Perspective section. The image above I love because of the unique lighting conditions playing out thanks to some fog that was hanging around in the valley that morning. The image below I just think is a classic Smokies scene, and the colors were just perfect that afternoon. I’d been meaning to stop at this location along Tremont Road for a while, and it all just so happened to come together on this particular day. Both images – really the entire set – I think properly illustrate what makes this part of the country so special, especially in autumn. So much beauty!
Well, I guess the good thing for you, the viewer, is you don’t have to pick a favorite! 🙂 You can just enjoy them all.
