Happy Father’s day to all the dads out there!  This weekend has been a nice weekend of celebration.  Yesterday afternoon my niece Maria got married – the first from my side of the family – and then today we had the family over to celebrate Father’s Day.  This, of course, has nothing to do with pictures of London, BUT hopefully you’ve had a nice weekend as well, and have been able to spend some time with family.

On to this week’s Picture of the Week!  As opposed to my time in Paris, where I decided to double down on getting a good picture of the Eiffel Tower, while I was in London I shot several scenes a few times (I had more time there) in hopes of coming away with something nice.  I was, however, quite taken with Big Ben, and ended up shooting it a lot.  On one particular evening it started raining (as it does) while Holly and I were out and about, which afforded me the opportunity to capture the clock lit up and reflecting in the water on the road – I got soaked, but loved the result!

Below you’ll find a selection of other images I captured around the city, including a couple shots from inside Westminster Abbey, which I frankly could have dedicated an entire Picture of the Week to.  That church is absolutely stunning! But alas, I’ve got more things to share.
