A day late – but hopefully not a dollar short! Some of you (okay, likely only one of you) may notice that this post is a day “late”. I generally write these on Sunday afternoon, however this weekend was the photography workshop hosted at Tremont that I help lead, and well, I just didn’t have time to put thoughts on paper! To make up for being late though, I’m gifting you all with a number of images, instead of just one. 🙂
Speaking of gifts, this autumn has been absolutely amazing for fog. Many of the mornings throughout October were just gorgeous, with seemingly endless amounts of fog. It was amazing (that even continued through to this morning!). To me, those foggy valleys make for iconic images of the Smokies, and really work to help define the layers of mountains, giving nice depth to our images. The ever-changing nature of fog makes it extremely fun to photograph, and to me anyway, makes for impactful and moody images.
Anyway, that’s enough words; enjoy the photographs.
More next week!
