Aaaaand sometimes you break your website! Apologies on the late posting this week. Yesterday when I went to do updates to the site, one of the updates broke the site and it took quite some time to recover. But, we’re back!
Anyway! It just wouldn’t be fall without some stream scenes! The challenge this year, though, is we’ve been behind on our rain for months here in East Tennessee, which means our streams are all but dry. In response, I went looking for photos in the larger streams that are usually too swift to shoot the way I like to shoot, but this year were totally manageable. I suppose in that way it was kind of nice, as I got to explore new ground.
As in previous weeks, I’ve put together a selection of images, rather than just a single one, in an attempt to tell a bigger story. The image above is my favorite because I always love the moss covered rocks with leaves scattered around and some nice directional changes in the shape of the water, and of course, just enough color left in the trees. Below in the Alternative Perspectives section you’ll find more stream scenes, including one (immediately below) that is more of a reflection scene than a stream scene. This was captured just below The Sinks, which is typically booming with water, but as you can see, was nearly a pool!
More next week – assuming I don’t break the site again!
