For my last image in the series, I of course wanted to end on a stream scene (yes, I realize its an obsession).  I actually discovered this little scene while I was exploring Lynn Camp Prong with my friend Chad.  At first it looked unassuming, but the more I looked at it through my lens, the more I liked it.  I think that’s the fun of stream scenes for me.  You can walk along a stream and find a million different scenes (sometimes you can find different stories simply by raising and lowering your tripod!), which always makes it seem fresh, even if the general area has been photographed a lot already.  There’s always a new way to see a stream.  🙂

Well, I hope you’ve all enjoyed my black and white series.  For me personally, I felt like this winter was WAY more productive from a photography point of view than years past.  Next week, we’re back to color!  Not to worry though (not that I think anyone is actually worried), I feel like I’ve learned SO much from this, it has only deepened my love for black and white.  It will return!

More next week!
