Chances are, when you think of Hilton Head, a forest is not what comes to mind.  Am I right?  Well, me either really, however earlier in this past summer Holly and I visited Hilton Head for the first time and I was personally struck by how beautiful the walkways (and specifically the boardwalk areas) were!  I just loved all the vegetation, especially the plants that don’t grow here in East Tennessee.  To my eyes it gave the scenes an interesting look, and of course the leading lines of the boardwalk itself added interest as well.  Below I’ve shared a couple more images I captured while on these boardwalks.

On this particular morning, Holly and I got the chance to see a couple of owls hunting (just around the corner from the scene above actually) and it was the most amazing thing.  They were swopping down and calling to each other, it was really a sight to see!

More next week!
