Happy Mother’s Day everyone (you did remember it was Mother’s Day, right?)!  What better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than with a flower photo!  I’m fairly certain this little white trillium (you may recall the yellow trillium from Easter), which can be found along the side of Tremont Road in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, has been photographed thousands of times over the years because of its location next to a small waterfall.  It’s quite picturesque!  When I went out shooting along the road, looking for wild flowers, I intentionally avoided it because I have a ton of pictures of it myself… but in the end, I was drawn to it yet again.  What can I say, it’s popular for a reason!  🙂

More local photos next week!
