This past week I decided to rent the Sony A7R II, because the camera just has so much hype around it, I just had to try it out for myself. I’ve been trying to wait patiently for Canon to release the 6D mark II, so in the mean time I thought I’d take a trip over to the dark side. 🙂 I’m sure I’ll talk more about the camera in the future, but for now, suffice it to say I’m going to continue to wait for the Canon. I may end up switching to the Sony eventually, but it wasn’t awesome enough that I just couldn’t wait.

BUT, since I had the camera I did get out and do quite a bit of shooting. The colors haven’t quite developed yet here in East Tennessee, but of course, we’ve got more to look at than the pretty fall leaves! On one particular outing I ran up to Clingmans Dome. I just LOVE the layers of mountains you can see from up there, and on this particular evening, the sky had some nice color to it, along with the nice blues of the mountains.

More next week!
