Earlier in the year Holly and I got the chance to go down to Daytona Beach, Florida, to visit family (it’s nice to have family in such beautiful places!) and just chill out on the beach. While we were there we sort of settled in to this routine of going for a walk on the beach, first thing in the morning (we called it the old person club), just as a nice way to get the day going. I believe it was our last morning there, we decided to get up in time to catch the sunrise as we were walking, and man, what a treat! I grabbed my camera on a whim and we were treated to one of the most amazing sunrises I think I may have ever seen. It looked as though the sky was on fire! I decided to work in the fisherman to the image as a sort of classic, early morning on Daytona Beach, type of image.
