If you happened to catch the My 5 Favorite Pictures from 2015 post at the end of last year, you’ve seen this picture before. It was one of my absolute favorites from 2015 (though, I really like all three of my Hong Kong images).
The Star Ferry in Hong Kong is one of the ferries that travels from the Hong Kong Island, across the Victoria Harbor, to the rest of Hong Kong. It is an open air type boat, and the back of the bench style seats swing over to allow you to face whichever direction you want. If you’re wanting to get a good vantage point of Hong Kong Island, the ferry itself has good views, as does the Kowloon Public Pier which sits directly beside the Star Ferry Pier (just follow all the people going to the right… you’ll see it). The Kowloon Public Pier is a great place to watch the sunset, and is THE place to watch the nightly light show, called the Symphony of Lights, so it should definitely be on your list!
