It is a common problem, people being distracted by their phones while operating a vehicle. Microsoft, with an update to its Windows Phone operating system, is trying to help users do the right thing by automatically silencing itself when paired with a Bluetooth headset or the car itself. This raises an interesting question; should phone manufacturers take more ownership and do this by default? What do you think?
