My wife and I stopped here right after we left the airport (it sits between the international airport in Keflavik and the capital city of Reykjavik) and it was a really nice stop to relax after all the traveling. I don’t know that I’d personally call this an amazing spa experience… but it is just one of those touristy things you just need to do to feel like you’ve been to Iceland. We were there this past October, and there is just something exciting about running in your bathing suit out into the freezing air with the wind blowing a million miles per hour and getting into the hot water of the lagoon. It is totally fun.

As other reviewers have mentioned, it is pretty expensive. At that time we didn’t have the exchange rate quite figured out, but I think it was something around $100 USD for the two of us to get in the lagoon. We stayed for a little over an hour and enjoyed it, so we felt like it was worth it. If nothing else, stop by and have a look out on the patio…. but bring your bathing suit, you’ll want to get in and try it!
