So I’ve been fiddling around with some different stuff here lately with regards to my photography… one of them being a lot of night-time photography / astrophotography and doing star trails. So far only one of these pictures has appeared on Picture of the Week (although if you’re on Facebook, you might have seen more) because I’m not 100% happy with my results yet. However the other day while I was messing with the shots I had taken it occurred to me that I had taken a bunch of shots that could be combined into a time-lapse video; which I thought was kind of cool. After some trial and error, I give you my first attempt at time-lapse! The sequence above is 30 minutes of real time boiled down to about 4 seconds (and is admittedly better if you watch it in full screen mode. I’ll shoot it in landscape next time!).
