My wife and I stayed here a few nights in May of 2010 and enjoyed our stay here. We found the rooms to be clean and the bed was actually comfortable (a rarity in China). The hotel has both shared rooms (think hostel bunk beds) and private rooms, so something for every budget. It seemed that all or most of the workers spoke English, and the breakfast was one of the better ones we had while in China… oh, and they had the cutest little kittens running around. They were quite entertaining.
The location was also quite good. It was in walking distance and had easy access to the city wall, which I would recommend going on top of. It is a nice break from the busy streets below. Rent a bike while you’re there and ride along the top of the wall.
