This week’s picture of the week wraps up a three week series looking at life in Nepal.  Week’s one (link) and two (link) were shots of the lifestyle in this beautiful country, and this week is a glimpse at how the people worship.

Inscribed in each prayer wheel is the phrase ‘Om mani padme hum’ over and over again. As the Buddhist practitioners circle the temples they chant this and turn these wheels with their hands.  What does it mean exactly?  Well… seems it is a bit hard to translate into English, so I’ll let you figure out > wikipedia.com
